Fight Tuberculosis with Modern Weapons (American Lung Associaion, ca. 1935)

Tony Field, producer of the VFH radio program BackStory, reminds us that the show’s new episode on health care will air tonight:

BackStory’s latest episode, “Body Politics: A History of Health Care,” will be airing this evening in Central Virginia. It’s a strong show, with obvious relevance to the current debate in Washington. Features include an interview with the creator of the blueprint for the “public option” plan, as well as a visit by BackStory assistant producer Catherine Moore to the recreation of colonial America’s first hospital, in a fortress just upriver from Jamestown.

Tune in at 7:30 p.m. on WVTF (89.3 FM in Charlottesville).
