		<description>I wish I had a dollar for every portrait that has been brought to the Poe House by someone claiming the man in the portrait was Poe.

Almost always the portrait has been in the family for years and in every case, on the reverse, was written  Edgar Allen Poe with Allen spelled wrong.

It seems every portrait with a young man with dark hair and a mustache must be Poe!</description>
